Recognition and Celebration

In any cycle there is a natural beginning, middle and end. I believe it is important to mark each phase in the cycle with appropriate recognition and celebration. Celebrations are magical moments that allow us to define phases in time that have nurtured and encouraged our soul to grow and defined our culture and our life.

As my term as President begins to wind down, it is once again time to recognize and honor all of our supporters in the past year. I am grateful to all of our Corporate, Platinum and Members that have shown up this year and made a positive contribution. Your presence is greatly appreciated in our community. I hope to see you all at the “Exhale and Breathe” event this month to honor and recognize the support provided to our chapter from Corporate, Platinum and Members. This month’s penultimate event in my term promises to be our most convivial gathering yet!

“Exhale and Breathe” - our annual Corporate, Platinum and Members Celebration Reception.
The time is 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Our Corporate & Platinum Members will be hosted by NAWBO for this event.
This annual event allows members/guests, corporate and platinum sponsors to take time from their busy schedules, in a non stress environment, to network, relax and just…..Exhale & Breathe!
NAWBO will be recognizing all our Corporate/Platinum members while offering a special reception hosted by the Embassy Suites with special hors d’ oeuvres and libations. NAWBO event participants & guests will have the opportunity to be selected for featured door prizes including:

Seven Tips for Better Networking
Susanne Kennedy is a networking, word-of-mouth marketing, and referral consultant. She works directly with business people to craft a plan that fits their time, energy and business. She enjoys speaking and teaching, and is pleased to be presenting at the NAWBO pre-meeting.

The best business results from relationships. Networking effectively will increase the likelihood of receiving business by referral. Susanne will take us through the basics of a good networking plan. You will leave with a seven step cycle to plan and review your networking efforts so that you can continually refine and improve it.

This workshop is from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
