Unlocking the Treasure Chest

At our May 21 Dinner Meeting Linda Parker, President of the New Mexico Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs, will facilitate a panel discussion featuring Edna Lopez, COMPA Industries Inc., Karen Urbielewicz, Urbielewicz, Murphree CPAs, and a third panelist to be announced. The discussion will transform how you think about maximizing your charitable contributions, and your networking and marketing dollars.

Silent & Live Aucions!

A silent and live auction will be held at the May 21 meeting. All of the funds that are raised will go directly to the New Mexico Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation, to be used for education, training, scholarships and loans for women entrepreneurs. All auction donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by tax law.

Commitments for the live auction include:

Suite Night for up to 16 people at a New Mexico Scorpions hockey game  
1-hour visit from Stanley the Scorpion for a birthday party or other kid’s function  
Party-in-a-Box at Madeleine’s Place, including a Limo, Wine Tasting, and Caterer
Sparkling piece of jewelry from Beauchamp & Co.

This is a great way to promote your business or an associate’s business, and it is also a good time to purchase gifts. Introduction of the 2008-2009 Board of Directors

There being no petitions to add candidates to the slate of officers proposed by the nominating committee, the 2008-2009 board of directors will be introduced at the meeting.

This month we will meet in the La Ventana room at the Embassy Suites on Lomas, just west of I-25. La Ventana is located off the main hotel lobby.

5:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. Mix ‘n Mingle and Silent Auction
6:15 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Dinner & Program
7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Live Auction and Conclusion of Silent Auction
