President’s Letter
We had a great June meeting on Wednesday with the recognition of a job well done by our 2011 – 2012 Board of Directors and the introduction of a new Board for 2012 – 2013.
The theme for NAWBO’s National Conference (WBC2012) this year is START SOMETHING! ... and we are definitely “starting something” in this, our 20th anniversary year for the Northern New Mexico Chapter of NAWBO. One of our big initiatives this year will be engaging in an organizational development process to help us create a vision for a NAWBO of the future – what do we imagine for ourselves for the next 20 years? What is the legacy that we want to create for our daughters and granddaughters who will be the passionate women entrepreneurs of the future? Kind of fun to think about!
I am asking you, our membership, to give some thought to these questions. What are YOU thinking? I really want to know – so call me, e-mail me, let’s make a coffee date to talk. I want to hear your ideas, thoughts, and concerns. I am looking for your inspiration for designing a future NAWBO that is not only relevant, but indispensable to the success of your business.
