October President’s Letter
This years National NAWBO conference was outstanding! A few of our NAWBO board members attended and we all agreed it was an inspiring and motivating experience. The speakers were articulate, courageous and funny! Keynote speaker, Gail Blanke, Founder, President and CEO of Lifedesigns, LLC delivered a meaningful message, “Stepping into Your Power”. We are meant to change and evolve Engage, Innovate and Be Bold!
I would encourage you to pick up a copy of her book “Throw Out Fifty Things – Clear the Clutter, Find Your Life. Presentation details will be posted on the NAWBO national website in the member’s resource area. A special thank you to the Foundation for Entrepreneurial Excellence for sponsoring one of our board members and thank you to our Corporate Partners and Platinum partners who make it possible for us to attend these events.

As this goes to press, SB1, N.M. Preference Bill has passed the Senate and is on its way to the House. NAWBO is in support of this bill, it keeps our tax dollars in our state
and supports N.M. Business doing business with state government.
