March President Newsletter
What a great program Terri Giron-Gordon presented at our February luncheon, “work.Happy” - a philosophy that focuses on what individuals can do together in the workplace that will make a difference in the work environment! A percentage of the sales of her book will be donated to our local NAWBO chapter. Thank You, Terri! Her book will be available at our March event.
Be sure to take advantage of our 3rd annual Signature event - NAWBO MEANS BUSINESS on Thursday, March 20th. The event is designed to increase our knowledge about effective ways of improving our businesses. We will offer symposiums on “Four Essentials You Need to Keep your Business Successful and YOU Out of Trouble.”
You will walk away with information related to major employment law issues for 2014 plus current technology that will bring value to your business. It will be a great opportunity to network and establish new relationships with other business owners and several supportive vendors to enhance your business strengths. Please continue to visit our website for this event for additional information on our speakers, sponsors plus great door prizes!
I am pleased to announce that the NAWBO Board nominated and accepted Kay Carrico as President Elect for 2013-2014 and she will be the new President of NAWBO in 2014-2015. We are excited to have Kay join our team. We’ll be posting more about her on our website in the coming months. Welcome Kay!
NAWBO will be offering a discount for membership in March. Don’t miss this chance to join a recognized National Women’s business organization. It offers opportunities to do business, establish friendships and share your personal talents with other business owners. This is how we make a difference for all Women Business Owners – collectively!
