Carolyn Parrs, The Ten Commandments of Green Marketing for Every Business Owner

Back by popular demand will be Carolyn Parrs, certified Marketing coach, co-owner of Mind Over Markets, and author of GreenMarketingBlog.com.  The green world is growing in leaps and bounds - despite our current economic climate. Even a recent Ad Age Magazine headline announced “Green Marketing Revolution Defies Economic Downturn.” No matter what business you are in, you can participate in this growing market opportunity. But before you dive in, you need to understand how to communicate to this unique psychographic in a meaningful way.

The Ten Commandments of Green Marketing for Every Business Owner is an essential guide to understanding and communicating with this fast-growing and informed consumer. With these ten cardinal rules, any business owner will be well prepared to understand the do’s and don’ts, the how to’s and how not to’s of the green consumer. How best to speak their language, how to marry ecology to economy, how to use education as a tool for motivation and more. This is not a talk on theory but instead provides down-to-earth principles and strategies business owners can use right now to build their company or green communications successfully and sustainably. This presentation includes case studies of successful and unsuccessful green marketing efforts for both product and service industries.

Join Carolyn Parrs, owner of Mind Over Markets (http://www.MindOverMarkets.com), a dedicated green communications and business development company in Santa Fe and featured author of Inside the Minds: Greening Your Business (Thomson Reuters). She also co-authors the GreenMarketingBlog.com, and this February will launch Women of Green, a podcast and networking community whose purpose is to provide a clear, strong, and compassionate feminine voice in the green movement.  Carolyn has worked from Madison Avenue to Main Street America and after years of living, working, consulting, writing, broadcasting, and helping grow companies, she now teaches business owners and organizations how to grow and thrive in this exploding market.
