Holiday Mixer with your NAWBO Friends
Welcome the holiday season with the gift of networking. This month’s meeting will be a networking mixer. We will provide you with some fun guidelines on meeting people, there will be fashions coming through the crowd from Articles for Her, and we will offer you the chance to give back to Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Articles for Her
located 8510 Montgomery NE (Target Shopping Center)
In 1980, Rhonda Ashcraft bought the Tall and Small Girl shop in Winrock Center and re-named it Articles for Her. Articles is a moderately-priced clothing store for women that appeals to a wide range of ages and tastes. It is located in the Target shopping center near Montgomery and Wyoming NE. In addition to clothing, Articles is also the main distributor of Brighton products in the state of New Mexico and the primary distributor of Pandora jewelry in the Albuquerque area. Rhonda grew up in Farmington and earned her degree in Management from UNM’s Anderson Schools. She currently serves on the Dallas Market Centers Advisory Board. Rhonda is known for having a knack for hiring salespeople who relate well to her customers and who help her create a friendly and cooperative shopping environment. Rhonda is married to Dan Ashcraft and they have two grown sons and two grandsons.
Bring plenty of business cards, and, if you choose, gift cards or certificates for Bigs and Littles to use on their outings (McDonalds, movies tickets, museum admissions, restaurant gift cards, etc). Happy Holidays and a Joyous and Prosperous New Year!
Community Outreach is focusing on Big Brother and Big Sisters this month. Read more about it.
