HELP! I’M IN THE CESSPOOL!

HELP! I’M IN THE CESSPOOL! – A GREAT SEMINAR FOR ANYONE IN THE MIDST OF CHANGE

presented by Cathy Sumerack
Change can be difficult, but we all know that change is never ending. Whether it is in the workplace or on the home front, change can cause a great deal of stress. This seminar is designed to help the audience understand why change is so hard and how they can help themselves to effectively survive change and reduce stress. Here are a few things they will gain:
-    Understanding the emotional cycle of change and why it can be so difficult
- Understanding the danger of the cesspool and how to avoid it

- Gain immediate tools that will help attendees navigate and successfully reduce the stress associated with change
- What they can do if they are already waist deep in the cesspool
- Learn how to recognize when others are in the cesspool and how they can help them out
- Enjoy learning in a relaxed, fun environment

Cathy Sumeracki has worked on a large commercial farm operation just after graduating from Michigan State University.  After leaving the farm in 1986, she shifted to the world of corporate America where she was closely involved in the implementation of new programs and processes.  At first, the move seemed to be such a different world than the farm, but it didn’t take too long before she realized that in the end, it was all just pig farming.  Her business book, Lessons in Pig Farming, a Swine Farmer’s Guide to Surviving in Corporate American (2001), has received accolades of praise from multiple businesses and several Masters programs.  It was also the winner of the Florida Publisher’s Association’s Best Business Title.

Over the last two decades, Cathy has continued to work in the corporate world and, in 2002, began training and conducting seminars on various business topics.  Her seminars are notorious for being highly interactive, extremely informative, and over the top fun. Cathy currently lives in Arizona and is a full time trainer/speaker/facilitator.  When she is not working as a business speaker, Cathy works as a professional dog trainer and educator specializing in herding.
