As Program Director of the Albuquerque Community Foundation, Nancy Johnson manages the Foundation’s grant and scholarship programs including the competitive, donor-advised and corporate grant programs, and 12 scholarship/financial aid programs.

The key criteria that foundations use to evaluate applications from potential grantees.

Nancy has been with the Foundation since 1991. During this time assets have grown from $5 million to $50 million. She works with donors to define their philanthropic goals now and through planned giving options. The Foundation has awarded more than $16 million since 1984. Annually, total grant awards are more than $2 million.

Nancy reviews more than 500 applications for funding from nonprofit organizations annually, oversees the Foundation’s ever growing web site, and provides technical assistance to the staff, boards, and volunteers of nonprofit organizations.
