Candidates Debate NM Business Issues
As a coalition partner of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), we cordially invite you to attend an important debate on issues that affect New Mexico businesses between the candidates for New Mexico Lt. Governor and New Mexico Secretary of State. This is your opportunity to hear the issues debated in real time—without media editing—and a chance to meet the candidates in person.
RSVPs due September 15
For Lt. Governor
- Lt. Governor Diane Denish and NM Senator Sue Wilson Beffort
For Secretary of State
- Mary Herrera and Vickie Perea
Congresswoman Heather Wilson is also invited, but her attendance will be determined by the possibility of a vote being held in Congress. Attorney General Patricia Madrid has sent her regrets.
When: Friday, September 22, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Embassy Suites, just west of I-25 on Lomas
Cost: $30 per person
All NM state women legislators are invited to attend as our guests. The moderator of this event is Terry Neese, Co-Founder and Past President of WIPP, Past President of National NAWBO, and a long time friend of NAWBO-Northern New Mexico. She is a powerhouse in Washington, DC, and her attendance alone is worth the price of a ticket just to hear her views on politics, business, and women in business.
With people on all sides of the issues welcome, this will be a lively event that is sure to stir up some exciting discussions at each table. So bring your spouses, colleagues, friends or political foes, and join us for a fun and informative luncheon!
Make your secure online reservation no later than September 15 and we’ll see you there!
